And so it begins. Your new love…
And so it begins. Your new love. That milk drunk smile. That sqidgy face. Those cheeks. Those gazes of pure unconditional love that seem to last a lifetime in the moment but are also gone in a second. Holding those brief moments in time, preserving them forever is a gift that you will be glad you have given yourself as your little one grows. Capturing those first few weeks of life will become one of your most precious possessions. Because memories fade but photographs do not.

Celebrate this wonderful time with newborn photography
{2-4 hour studio shoot, editing time, use of props, viewing & ordering}
As a newborn photographer, I get excited to meet gorgeous little babies at my Louth studio who are only days old. I love the new baby smell, seeing such tiny fingers and tiny toes. It gives me a great sense of pride to meet your precious little one so early in life!
Most parents find themselves watching baby sleep, checking out each beautiful little features. Little hands and feet, long eyelashes, and tiny ears! But they soon grow and change, even within the first couple of weeks. It won’t be long before your little bundle is sitting up and playing. So make sure you capture them as a tiny newborn. For me, and for you as parents, I have invested in specialist newborn photography training with one of the very first newborn photographers. Safety of baby is most important.
When?
For those squishy, curled and wrapped poses, the ideal time for your session is when baby is between 5-14 days. Although, I have had babies up to 6 weeks visit and we’ve created images full of personality.
So, it’s best to get in touch after your 20 week scan. That way we can book your session in for a week or so after your due date. Of course, we will need to be flexible with timing! Baby might fancy being a little early or late, but the diary works to that! If you’re looking now and you’re further than 20 weeks, it’s still worth getting in touch.
How?
I’ve specially designed a safe area for newborns with lots of carefully selected props. The session lasts between 2 to 4 hours. This gives us plenty of time to feed, change and settle baby. In the meantime, you can sit back, get comfy and enjoy watching the session. Sometimes I’ll ask you to get involved with helping me too, an extra pair of hands is always useful. Together we will create a stunning collection of beautiful photographs.
