Christmas mini photo sessions at my Louth photography studio are really popular every year! It’s a great opportunity for families to get some Christmas themed professional photographs created, ready to use any way the choose. Clients often ask me where are the best places to get items made and suggestions on what to have created. So I’ve pulled together some of the cutest ways to show off your Christmas photos. Check them out below:
1 // Christmas Cards – of course!
This is probably one of the most popular items to have made with your Christmas themed photographs. And there’s whole range of online stores where you can design and purchase. As with any printing outside of the pro labs that I choose, there is a risk of colour differentiation. But if you’re happy with that risk then I’d suggest using OptimalPrint or MoonPig. Be sure to read all of the design instructions, and make sure you know what you are paying for as both offer ‘flyer’ styled cards. I’ve had previous clients realise this after they’ve made their order!
2 // A Unique Christmas Bauble
There is so much choice online with decorative Christmas baubles. But my favourite one has a unique look and uses your Christmas mini session photo. Made by Sophie Victoria Joy {a maker from Not on the High Street}, these baubles are so easy to design. The vintage polaroid style has enough space for a little personalised message too. Portrait {upright} photographs work best for this design. I offer these baubles as part of my ‘Joyful Collection’ for my Christmas Mini Photo Sessions. With this collection you also receive all 10 digital photographs too – so you can create even more baubles! {Imagine a whole tree with them!!}
3 // Clay Photo Tiles
I am a massive lover of this gorgeously creative business – Periwinkle & Clay. I have followed the owner’s {Claire} creative journey on Facebook and Instagram for a couple of years now and I just LOVE her business ethos. The beautiful items that Claire creates is with love and to such a fabulous quality too. So, a cute framed tile or clay photo hanging bauble decoration could be just the item for you.

4 // Tablet & Phone Cover
The magic of these items are that they are interchangeable. So, you can have seasonal photographs such as your Christmas mini photo sessions images and use these as a case cover for the Christmas period. Using them each year perhaps {depending on just how often you update your phone of course!} There are lots of places you can find online to print items like these.
5 // 2018 Calendar
I know! Seems crazy to think of 2018 already, but it’s almost here! And a calendar can be a really cute way to use your Christmas mini photo sessions images! It might be that the calendar is a stocking filler gift for a Grandparent. And just think about how lovely it would be for them to see a selection of photographs each month – with your Christmas photographs filling the month of December! Again, if print quality isn’t a concern, then there are lots of places you can find online to print items like these.
I hope you have found something that you are keen to create. If you are local to Louth and you are considering a Christmas mini photo session, then get in touch to see if I have any sessions available. For more information about these photo sessions, I’ve explained lots in this blog post here.
Smile, Jeni x
