As a Louth family photographer I meet lots of new mummies and daddies. Being a new parent is such a special time and a fantastic, if not a little daunting, learning curve! It takes time to settle into parenthood and figure out routines. And the best part, getting to know your little one’s character.
Get in them photographs…
Babies develop so quickly in their first year! So it’s important to take those photographs! And it’s just as important to get in them too! Yep, I’m still pushing for parents to get in those photographs. Be part of your child/ren’s memories that they look back on and say “Daddy – your head looks full of hair in this photo!!”
Daddy & daughter…
This ‘Daddy and Daughter’ session took place when baby was older than the typical ‘newborn window’ of up to 8 weeks. The original session had to be re-scheduled as baby was just not having any of it that day! So we planned in another date. With a full tummy and post nap, we had everything in place to enjoy this studio photography session. And baby was an absolute dream.
You’ll see in our Frequently Asked Questions that re-scheduling sessions is ok. It doesn’t happen often, but it’s ok when it does. It’s important to have an enjoyable experience. That way, we’ll collect beautiful photographs to share and showcase.
