When a team of talented Lincolnshire wedding suppliers come together with the intention of creating beautiful photographs to showcase and share, I get excited! And even more so once I heard of the choice of venue! It was just my cup of tea!!
Lincolnshire Wedding Suppliers Get Creative…
Amy, from Amy Lauren Weddings, organised this fabulous styled photo shoot as a way to celebrate an incredible gem of a venue nestled in a little Lincolnshire village. The Moot Hall at Holton Le Moor boasts character inside and out! So from a photographers point of view it has many perfect spots for shooting. And Amy chose quite wisely with her choice of Lincolnshire wedding suppliers, clearly making sure that each would compliment one another in their style. So it made sense that Amy invited Gillian from Bridal Reloved in Caistor, to showcase one of her beautiful wedding dresses. I love the concept of Gillian’s bridal boutique. And, of course, her choice of dress just fitted into the styled shoot perfectly.

But rather than hear just my thoughts, I’m loving the idea of sharing thoughts from other talented Lincolnshire wedding suppliers, so I asked Gillian from Bridal Reloved in Caistor, for hers….
Loved and reloved…
“I was over the moon when Amy asked if I would like to be involved in this photo shoot,” says Gillian. “The idea of one of my beautiful preloved designer dresses in this stunningly unique venue just felt so right.
“Over its life, The Moot Hall has been loved and reloved with many purposes and it will continue to be used by lots of lovely couples for their weddings. A perfect fit with Bridal Reloved Caistor’s ethos. To offer brides the chance to find their dream designer dress by a top designer without the designer price tag. Our dresses are preloved, ex sample and some new and always half price or less.

“It was important that the dress for this shoot suited the beautiful venue, and the lovely lady who was to wear it. The choice was a gorgeous lace Terry Fox gown, with delicate antique style lace and stunning illusion back. Elegant and graceful and stunning when worn by our lovely Hollie Key. It’s just so important that the ‘bride’ and their dress get on well together. And I think you can see from the shots Hollie looks and feels beautiful. The pearl & ribbon hair band perfectly match the style of the dress and complement Hollies pretty hair style.”
Working Together to Create a Statement…
Having worked with Skin Couture’s Make Up Artist Gillian and Hairdresser Nicky, I knew our gorgeous model Hollie was in great hands! Gillian’s make up skills are like magic as she enhances features with such subtlety, but that creates stunning impact. As always, Nicky made sure that the bridal hair worked with AND complimented all of the styling. And as Bridal Reloved Gillian says…“And the veil, well the Moot Hall and the gorgeous outdoor spaces called for a cathedral length veil. Lace edged and flowing beyond the dress it really is a perfect combination. We had so much fun working alongside the other suppliers. I know the dress enjoyed her outing very much and so did we.”

Character and Charm…
As a way to make the most of our shoot, Amy organised for several ‘sets’ and ‘locations’ and I was like a kid in a candy shop! Simone from Flowers by Simone worked her magic with beautiful foliage, dressing The Moot Hall’s statement fireplace with simple elegance. Totally Caked by Tracey added to the ‘top table set’ with her gorgeous, unique vintage tea sets and props. All finished off and complimented perfectly with Raspberry Rose Design’s thoughtful wedding favours.

As a way to showcase variety at The Moot Hall, Laura from Graces Goodies Boutique created a statement area with her floral letters. Spanning the length of the main room under an impressive large mirror and featuring the amazing wedding cake.

Beautiful Inside and Out…
Not only does the Moot Hall offer so much charm and choice indoors, but also outdoors. Enough for Jelly Dot Parties & Events to erect one of their fabulously cute Bell Tents! An absolute perfect idea to involve children at a wedding and keep them entertained. Dressed with toys and comfy areas to play. Children are spoilt for choice and I can imagine many young children playing happily for hours.

And then as the afternoon light moved round, so did we… to the Church at the back of The Moot Hall! And my, oh my what a pretty little Church! Again, so many spots to shoot in… the tree lined pathway to the Church, the iron gates into the Churchyard with the bell tower in the background really sets the scene. Never mind the beautiful lighting that we were blessed with too. And after, we ventured through to the Moot Hall’s paddock. An expansive, beautiful enclosed field ideal for a marquee. We were truly spoilt for choice.

So thank you Amy for organising such a wonderful styled shoot. I loved being part of it. I’m honoured to have taken on the role of helping show off such talent and beauty that our Lincolnshire wedding suppliers offer. And as for the venue – The Moot Hall has so much to offer for those looking for a country styled wedding rich in character and charm.
