Abundance of natural beauty…
With such an abundance of natural beauty, it was highly likely that there would be much to share from this amazing Styled Shoot. So here is Goltho Gardens Part II, where we explore these amazing English country gardens and share some Lincolnshire wedding inspiration…
As the photographer of this beautifully stunning styled shoot at Goltho Gardens, I could see so many ‘picture-perfect’ spots for wedding photography. With 4 acres on offer, there’s an absolute abundance of choice. And especially so with gardens available for every season. At the time of this shoot, we were just coming to the end of Summer. The sunlight was starting to get that little bit lower in the sky, giving a softer light for shooting with.

Lincolnshire Wedding Inspiration…
The brains behind the shoot and bringing everyone together was from Gillian, owner of Bridal Reloved Caistor. I’ve worked with Gillian several times before and I love how she gets stuck in to make things happen. She has great knowledge of the wedding industry, especially so about her beautiful dresses. The dress she chose for this shoot was absolutely perfect – a full bold lace, figure hugging gown – superbly fitted to Hannah, our gorgeous model! And Gillian also approached Julie from David Jason Formalwear Hire for the Groom’s suit – which everyone loved – including Lloyd, our ‘Groom’ for the day {Hannah’s partner, who usually doesn’t enjoy wearing a suit!} The choice of style, coloured tweed and details all worked in unison with the Autumnal theme.
And that’s where Natalie George, The Makeover Fairy also took inspiration for both hair and makeup. Using an Autumnal palette of warm golds and chocolate tones to enhance Hannah’s skin tone and features. Julie from Julip Floristry, had created a fabulous floral hairpiece and so Natalie created simple, gentle curls to frame Hannah’s face. Our gorgeous model was also treated to have her nails done with Amanda from Gelly Coats Nails. A detail sometimes overlooked in wedding styled shoots, but this really was the icing on the cake for this shoot – Hannah’s manicure was subtly elegent. Which leads us to the rings provided by Andrea at Coastal Silver. Her handcrafted pieces are incredibly unique and I simply love the idea that they are bespokely made.

Debbie and her team at Goltho Gardens have already created a wonderful tearoom and plant nursery. And their vision for creating spectacular outdoor natural spaces for couples with landscaping, all year round interest of colour and texture in the gardens, showcase their passion and their knowledge. In amongst the lily pond, a lawned grass avenue and a nut walk, to name just a few, was also a woodland with a carpet of pink cyclamens. A perfect spot for some ancient hand-fasting. Leni from Unique to You Celebrancy suggests that this is an even more special event when surrounded by nature. And I couldn’t agree more. This symbolic element can be tailored uniquely to you and really does symbolise the tying of the knot!

If this Styled Shoot hasn’t given you lots of Lincolnshire wedding inspiration, then I’m not sure what will! Goltho Gardens is not your ‘traditional’ wedding venue, but it certainly has lots of traditional features. And lots of natural beauty. There is such a lot to offer that I can’t imagine any one wedding would be the same! The beauty of this place comes from the passion in the owners and the team of people behind the many hours, days, weeks and years that it has clearly taken to nurture such an incredible feast for the eyes.
